I blogged for a long time at Our Sears Kit Home, but quit about 6 years ago shortly after moving

to the farmhouse.


Now we live in the Blue Mountains of Pennsylvania, in an old German brick farmhouse, in a garden.  

Beauty is everywhere I look, and this blog is a way to document my gratitude.


We keep a few chickens and honeybees and cats ;).  Oh, and gardens.  Plenty of gardens!

This and that

The chickens were delighted with their watermelon "juice bowl" this morning.  Doesn't take much to  delight them! 😆 I learned that these raspberries that produce fruit in July are called wineberries!  (beehavenacres@blogspot.com).  So when I saw the bushes covered in fruit, I had to  pick some.  Now I'm debating on what to make with them! Hope your summer day was delightful! Carol
