The chickens were delighted with their watermelon "juice bowl" this morning. Doesn't take much to
delight them! 😆
I learned that these raspberries that produce fruit in July are called wineberries! (beehavenacres@blogspot.com). So when I saw the bushes covered in fruit, I had to
pick some. Now I'm debating on what to make with them!
I blogged for a long time at Our Sears Kit Home, but quit about 6 years ago shortly after moving to the farmhouse. Now we live in the Blue Mountains of Pennsylvania, in an old German brick farmhouse, in a garden. Beauty is everywhere I look, and this blog is a way to document my gratitude. We keep a few chickens and honeybees and cats ;). Oh, and gardens. Plenty of gardens! Carol (Meanwhile I'm trying to re-learn Blogger and formatting, so please bear with me)
There was a small patch of fog laying upon the chicken yard this morning when I let them out. They enjoyed their morning snack under the mulberry trees. I sure love having chickens. Carol
