It seems to be a great year for purple coneflowers! They are EVERYWHERE!
Many have been harvested and dried for tinctures and tea.
The yellow oxeye sunflower/false sunflower
has made quite a comeback, and the Black-eyed Susans are at their peak.
Even the squash blossoms are putting on a show.
Most of the garden is made up of perennials because they can be divided and increased over the years. The widespread Black-eyed Susans started out with 6 plants a few years ago.
The garden is definitely one of my happy places!
